Ideal for a couple looking for a cozy getaway

Had a very spacious room with a quirky charm from the creaky floorboards and low beams that you need to watch out for but it adds to the character subtly. The staff were great especially during breakfast, they really made us feel welcome and took care of our needs when we had a little wait for the food.

It wasn't exactly cheap but the experience made it acceptable.

I found the bed in my room too firm, impacting my sleep quality. The bathroom had some cleanliness issues, with mold observed in the shower area. there were significant delays in receiving our dinner orders, which took over an hour, detracting from the evening's enjoyment.

Had a great time with friends exploring the stunning North Yorkshire countryside! The King's Head offers some amazing walks, and we also enjoyed a tour of the Black Sheep Brewery just down the road. The staff were super friendly, and breakfast was solid. Make sure to book direct for the best prices.
